Aside from that little bit of unspoken-but-executed business above, tonight went pretty well. Tried out the Stones' "Torn and Frayed" for the first time. Also covered an old Irish tune I rediscovered recently, the Clancy Bros. "Will Ye Go, Lassie, Go?"
The latest original, "Dauphine," is taking better shape. It's still a little too plain-old-G-F-C, but if we end up trying it out in Charlie Hustle, we can gild it up a bit:
